PLEASANT HILL, Ill. -- Three Pleasant Hill residents were arrested on drug charges on Tuesday after a months-long investigation.

Arrested were:

Chance M. Lippincott, 39, on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacture of cannabis.

Rebecca D. Higgins, 33, on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stacy E. Little, 36, on charges of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

The Pike County Sheriff's Department said that it, along with the Pleasant Hill Police Department, served a search warrant on May 6 at a home in the 200 block of East Clay. Methamphetamine and a small indoor cannabis growing operation were reportedly seized.

The items were sent to the Illinois State Police Crime Lab for analysis, and upon receiving lab reports, information was turned over to the Pike County state's attorney's office for review.

The Sheriff's Department said the investigation continues, and additional arrests are pending.

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services assisted in the investigation.
