QUINCY -- Quincy Medical Group has expanded the QMG Cancer Institute with the addition of radiation oncology.

Dr. Michael Fallon, a board-certified radiation oncologist, recently joined the QMG Cancer Institute team.

Fallon will work with the QMG Cancer Institute's medical oncology providers, including Drs. M. Amjad Ali. Christian Khoury, Karthik Koduru, Raymond Smith and Vitor Pastorini. Together, the team brings more than 100 years of experience caring for local patients.

"As a new component of the QMG Cancer Institute, radiation medicine will offer an impressive array of clinical and highly conformal radiation procedures critical to the comprehensive care of patients throughout the courses of their treatment and recovery," Fallon said. "As applied to the field of oncology, Radiation Medicine is integral to the management of cancer in both curative and palliative settings."

Fallon received his medical degree from the State University of New York-Stony Brook Medical School, and completed his residency in radiation oncology at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.
