MENDON, Ill. — A rising star in country music is heading to the Adams County Fair.

Redferrin will take the stage on Saturday, Aug. 1.

Entry into grandstand seating for the concert is free with adult admission to the fair. Track tickets will be sold online beginning Saturday, June 6.

Redferrin’s unique blend of country roots and hip-hop swagger offers a fresh take on modern country, and his latest record “Some City” shows he’s primed to make an even bigger impact.

Redferrin was named a 2024 Amazon Breakthrough Artist to Watch and already has surpassed 400 million global streams.

His debut EP “Old No. 7, released in February 2024, featured seven songs co-written and co-produced by the Tennessee native. The album boasts over 275 million global streams, spawning viral hits “Just Like Johnny” and “Jack and Diet Coke,” which earned RIAA GOLD certifications and landed Redferrin on Spotify’s Viral 50 (US) chart.

Redferrin’s songwriting credits include Florida Georgia Line’s “Lil Bit” featuring Nelly and “New Truck” and Dean Brody and the Reklaws’ massive hit “Can’t Help Myself.”

Originally from White House, Tenn., Redferrin’s journey started on the national Arenacross circuit before his passion for songwriting led him to Nashville.

The Adams County Fair runs Wednesday, July 29 through Tuesday, Aug. 4 at the fairgrounds near Mendon.
