Crash north of New London injures Quincy woman

NEW LONDON, Mo. A two-vehicle crash north of New London injured a Quincy, Ill., woman.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2016 Toyota 4Runner driven by a 55-year-old Quincy woman and a 1999 Ford F-350 driven by a 66-year-old Bowling Green man were heading north at 2:21 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 61, 3 miles north of New London. When the Toyota struck the rear of the Ford, the Toyota’s driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn, the patrol said.

The woman was taken by Ralls County Emergency Medical Services to Hannibal Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Ralls County Sheriff’s Department, Center Fire Department, New London Fire Department and Ralls County EMS.
