Driver dies in UTV crash

CLAYTON, Ill. The driver died in an early Monday morning utility task vehicle crash in Clayton.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Department said deputies dispatched at 12:48 a.m. to a single vehicle crash in the area of U.S. 24 and West Main Street in Clayton found an overturned UTV with a single occupant, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The department was assisted by Adams County Ambulance, Camp Point Fire Department, Clayton Fire Department and the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
