Regina Kathleen Ehrhardt, 87, of Rushville, IL passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Beardstown Health &; Rehab Center, in Beardstown, IL. She was born on August 15, 1938 in Rushville, IL a daughter of Raymond J. &; Emma L. Bussen Ehrhardt. She is survived by (2) sisters; Sister Jean Patrick (Barbara) Ehrhardt of Springfield, IL and Cecilia Rang of Mt. Sterling, IL, (7) nieces & nephews, Tony Busen, Teresa Busen, Trudy Young & Jim, Dan Rang & Patti, Dave Rang & Shelly, Barb Groesch & Karl, Lisa Ehrhardt, (11) great nieces & nephews and (5) great-great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, (1) sister, Mary Jo Busen, (1) brother, Don Ehrhardt, (1) sister-in-law, Kathleen Ehrhardt, (2) brothers-in-law; Norbert Busen and William Rang, (1) niece-in-law, Linda Greenlee Busen, (1) great niece, Sarah Rang. Regina began working in the family business, Rushville Hardware Company, at age 16 and eventually became a partner before retiring. Some of Regina’s greatest treasures were her Catholic faith and her family. She also enjoyed music, singing, traveling and genealogy. She had an extensive nativity collection consisting of over five hundred sets. She had a list of who gave each one to her and she loved showing them off. Regina was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, St. Rose Altar and Rosary Society, Church Women United and Springfield Dominican Association. She was also a member of Sarah D. Culbertson Auxiliary and she delivered many mobile meals. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Rushville, IL on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Marc Nkulu in charge. Interment will follow in Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Worthington Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Rose Altar & Rosary, Regina Ehrhardt Scholarship or Mobile Meals Program.
