Raymond Joseph Metzger, age 91, of Mt. Sterling, Illinois passed away at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Mt. Sterling Health and Rehabilitation Center. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026 in the Holy Family Catholic Church in Mt. Sterling. Burial will follow in the Mt. Sterling Catholic Cemetery with military honors to be conducted. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling. The Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling is assisting the family with the arrangements.
