Pike County sheriff releases weekly booking report

PITTSFIELD — Law enforcement officers in Pike County booked 13 individuals on various criminal charges, regulatory violations, and outstanding court warrants between July 13 and July 19, according to official records released by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office.
The most serious charge of the week involved domestic violence. Makayla A. Rose, 30, of Cape Girardeau was arrested by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office on July 19 on an allegation of domestic battery as well as an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. She remains in custody.
Two men were taken into custody on charges involving court-ordered protections. Allen R. Howard, 34, of Pittsfield was arrested on July 17 by the Pittsfield Police Department for violating an order of protection. On the same day, deputies from the Pike County Sheriff’s Office arrested Leo Ivan Webb, 22, of Griggsville on identical charges of violating an order of protection. Both men remain held in custody.
In another offense involving law enforcement interference, Stephen J. Bowen, 52, of Griggsville was arrested on July 18 on a charge of resisting a peace officer. He was released later that same day.
Three individuals were booked during the week under environmental and regulatory statutes for alleged violations of federal regulations. Tryice Offord, 46, of Decatur and Jamar M. White, 38, of Jacksonville were both arrested by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office on July 13 and remain in custody. Brian Gray, 63, was arrested on the same charge on July 14 and was released on July 15.
Seven additional individuals were taken into custody during the seven-day period on outstanding failure-to-appear warrants. Christina Ann Casteel, 48, of Chambersburg was arrested on July 19 on a warrant related to sentencing and remains in custody. Thomas W. Hathaway, 58, of Pittsfield was booked on July 15 on an arraignment-related warrant and was released the same day. Salvador Cabrera, 56, of Camp Point was booked and released on July 14 on a warrant involving court payment or appearance. Stephanie A. Grimsley, 37, of Pleasant Hill was arrested and released on July 18 on a failure-to-appear warrant. Marcus I. Johnson, 44, of West Bend, Wisconsin, was booked on July 14 and released on July 15, while Leroy S. Burke, 51, of Quincy was also booked on July 14, 2026, and released the following day. Samuel D. Davis, 54, of Barry was arrested and released on July 13 on a failure-to-appear warrant.
Suspects are considered to be innocent until judged otherwise in a court of law.
