Trista Kay Sisk, 42, of Fairfield, IA passed away in the early morning of July 14, 2026 at the University of Iowa Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Trista was born March 3, 1984 in Quincy, Ill to Verlenna Sisk and Richard (Chris) Wright where she spent her childhood. She then moved to Odessa, TX in her teenage years. Later settling down in Fairfield, Iowa with her children, Makiya Sisk and Noah Clay and her companion of 20 years, Tylan Clay.
She was a devoted Christian to Faith Christian Outreach Church. A faithful worker to Vaytech as well as home management for members of Maharishi Vedic City and many other places. Her many interests included spending time with her family and loved ones, renting movies, going to the pool, cooking, fishing, doing hair and music.
Surviving Trista are her children, Makiya (Cassel Meadows) Sisk of Quincy, IL, Noah Clay of Fairfield, IA; Mother Verlenna Sisk of Fairfield, IA, Step-father Brian Sorrill of Mendon, IL; Grandmother Sandra Allensworth of Fairfield, IA; her Aunt Michelle Sisk of Fairfield, IA, Uncle Daryl Wright of Odessa, TX; her sisters Misty Wright of Odessa, TX, Shayla Wright of Odessa, TX, Tiffany (David) Rife of Mendon, IL, Brianna Sorrill of Marcelline, IL, Jordan (Joshua McVey) Sorrill of Quincy, IL; cousins Gage Sisk of Soddy-Daisy, TN, Bryce Fredricks of Quincy, IL; nieces and nephews , Addison and Elise Rife, Madelyn and Piper Owen, Carson Groove, Miles and Harper McVey, and Damon Overzet.
She was proceeded in death by father Richard (Chris) Wright; brother Shane Douglas; her aunt Samantha Watkins; her uncle William Rowsey, Jr.; Grandfather Jerry Sisk, step-grandmother Karen Sisk; Grandfather Kennard Allensworth; grandmother Linda Swann; Great grandparents Robert Swan and Mary Grace Swann; uncle Jamie Wright; Grandfather Jimmy Wright; Great grandmother Thelma Wright.
There will be 2 celebrations of life: August 2nd at the VFW in Fairfield, IA from 5:00pm-7:00pm
August 8th at 1:00pm- 4:00pm at Eagles Alps in Quincy, IL (3737 N 5th St Quincy, IL.
