Quincy teen arrested following robbery investigations

QUINCY — Following investigations into several robberies of food delivery drivers in May, the Quincy Police Department announced the arrest of a teen over the weekend.
According to QPD, investigations were opened into two separate robberies, one that happened on May 5 in the 800 block of Payson and a second on May 11 in the 800 block of South Seventh Street.
On Friday, officers arrested a 15-year-old male on charges of robbery and armed robbery. The teen was lodged at the Adams County Juvenile Detention Center pending an initial court hearing.
The investigation remains open, and the police department reported that additional charges and additional arrests may come later. Anyone with information related to the robberies is asked to contact the QUincy Police Department directly or through Quincy Regional Crime Stoppers.
