Kansas man injured in Monroe City crash

MONROE CITY, Mo. — A Kansas man was injured in a Monroe City crash.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2023 Ford F-150 driven by a 41-year-old Shawnee, Kansas, man was heading east at 10:18 p.m. Sunday on U.S. 24 at old U.S. 26 at Monroe City, when it failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a ditch.
The man, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Monroe County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
The patrol was assisted by the Monroe City Police Department, Monroe County Fire Department and Monroe County Ambulance.
