Deer-related crash injures Hannibal man

PALMYRA, Mo. — A deer-related crash west of Palmyra injured a Hannibal man.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2020 Chevrolet Spark driven by a 39-year-old Hannibal woman was heading east at 8:42 p.m. Tuesday on Mo. 168, 4 miles west of Palmyra, when it struck a deer in the road.

A passenger in the vehicle, a 37-year-old Hannibal man, was taken by Marion County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital with minor injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Marion County Fire Department and Marion County Ambulance.
