QUINCY — High school students interested in healthcare careers can get a firsthand look at the field during “Explore Blessing,” a free event at Blessing Hospital scheduled for Friday, Aug. 7, from 8 to 11:30 a.m.
The interactive tour and expo is designed for students exploring future career paths and will showcase both clinical and non-clinical roles within the health system, including patient care, laboratory services, environmental services, food and nutrition, and business and financial positions.
Participants will tour the hospital, meet with healthcare professionals, and learn about educational pathways available through Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences and John Wood Community College. Department leaders will also discuss career options, educational requirements, and opportunities for advancement within the health system.
The event is free, but registration is required and attendance is limited to 50 students. Registration closes at noon Monday, Aug. 3, and is available through Blessing Health’s website.
