QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department and Adams County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the cause of death for a Quincy woman earlier this week.

QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department and Adams County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the cause of death for a Quincy woman earlier this week.

QPD reports that officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of State Street just after 2 p.m. on Monday for a report of a woman who passed away. The police department located a 30-year-old woman and, due to the deceased’s age, contacted investigators and the department’s crime scene technician to assist.

As of Friday, Quincy Police report that there is no evidence of foul play discovered so far. An autopsy was conducted and investigators are waiting on toxicology and other related reports.
