Canton man injured in deer-related crash

WEST QUINCY — A Canton man was injured Friday night in a deer-related motorcycle crash west of West Quincy, Missouri.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 57-year-old man was driving a 2016 Harley-Davidson eastbound on U.S. 24 at 9:40 p.m. The crash occurred west of County Road 355, approximately 1 mile west of West Quincy, when the motorcycle struck a deer in the roadway.
The impact ejected the driver from the motorcycle. He was transported by personal vehicle to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois, with minor injuries.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department assisted the highway patrol at the scene.
