BOWLING GREEN — A Sunday afternoon crash in Pike County injured a Bowling Green woman.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2008 GMC Sierra driven by a 34-year-old Bowling Green woman was heading north at 12:20 p.m. on Route NN, south of County Road 277, when it failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The patrol said the vehicle left the right side of the road, overcorrected, and skidded across the road and partially off the left side of the road. It then overcorrected again and rotated clockwise before skidding off the right side of the road and overturning onto the driver’s side.
The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Ralls County Ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital-Lake St. Louis with moderate injuries.
