HomeBank, Federal Home Loan Bank to award $322,000 to Missouri nonprofits

PALMYRA — HomeBank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines will present a combined $322,000 to 12 Missouri nonprofit organizations during a series of check presentations Aug. 6 and 11 at HomeBank branches across northeast Missouri and the St. Louis area.

On Aug. 6, presentations are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. at the Palmyra HomeBank branch, where a check will go to Baring MO Community Senior Housing Inc. At 10 a.m., a check will be presented to Hannibal Regional Healthcare System at the Hannibal branch. At 11:30 a.m., checks will go to Anne’s Anchor and the Bowling Green R-1 Education Foundation at the Bowling Green branch. At 1:30 p.m., the Centralia Area Senior Citizen Association and the Ministerial Alliance will receive checks at the Centralia branch, followed by a 2:30 p.m. presentation to the Presser Arts Center at the Mexico branch.

On Aug. 11, checks will be presented at 10:30 a.m. at the Lake Saint Louis branch to four organizations: the American Cricket Academy and Club, Chapel of the Lake of St. Louis, the Small Business Synergy Corporation of St. Charles, and the Societies of St. Vincent de Paul at Immaculate Conception and Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic churches.
