Perry Pioneer Days set for Aug. 21-22

PERRY — The Perry Association for Community Enrichment will host its annual Perry Pioneer Days celebration Aug. 21 and 22, featuring food, live music, a parade, and community activities throughout the weekend.
The event kicks off Friday at 5:30 p.m. with the Star Spangled Celebration, which will include a fish fry at the firehouse alongside pageants and hourly giveaways on the event stage.
Saturday’s highlights include a parade and additional hourly giveaways, along with a flag retirement ceremony conducted by Scouting America. Live music will be provided by Heritage Classics, featuring Rocky and April Sally, Jim Beadle, and Dave Hoover.
