Pike County sheriff’s office releases weekly arrest log

PITTSFIELD — Local law enforcement officers booked 11 individuals on charges including aggravated battery of a peace officer, methamphetamine possession, driving offenses, and outstanding court warrants between July 27 and Aug. 2, according to records from the Pike County Sheriff’s Office.

Facing the most severe charge is Travis R. Brown, 43, of Griggsville, who was arrested Aug. 1 by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office. Brown was taken into custody on allegations of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm to a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, a petition for revocation warrant, and a body attachment warrant. He remained in custody following his arrest.

In another serious case, Ariel L. Raney, 38, of Pittsfield, was arrested Aug. 2 by the Pittsfield Police Department for a third offense of driving on a revoked or suspended license related to a DUI or statutory summary suspension. She was released later that day.

Drug charges were filed against Zachary A. Hull, 32, of Barry, who was arrested July 28 by deputies. Hull was cited for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended or revoked license. He was released the same day.

Traffic charges were also brought against Kyle D. Killebrew, 46, of Pittsfield, who was arrested Aug. 2 by the Pittsfield Police Department for driving on a suspended or revoked license. Killebrew remained in custody following his arrest.

Seven individuals were taken into custody during the period for outstanding warrants, petitions for revocation, or body attachments for failure to appear or pay:

Three of those individuals remained in custody, including Emily N. Lyons, 35, of Hillsboro, who was arrested Aug. 1 on a failure-to-appear warrant; Clinton L. Long, 39, of New Salem, who was arrested July 31 by the Pittsfield Police Department on a failure-to-appear warrant; and Laura J. Huff, 53, of Quincy, who was arrested July 28 on a failure-to-appear warrant before being released July 31.

Four additional individuals were arrested and released on the same day after processing for failure-to-appear warrants or body attachments. These included Corey J. Ostrander, 45, of New Canton, on July 28; Tasha A. Kirk, 44, of Pittsfield, and Richard S. Satterfield, 59, of Griggsville, both on July 29; and Trevin D. Hardwick, 37, of Pittsfield, on Aug. 2.

Suspects are considered to be innocent until judged otherwise in a court of law.
