Wednesday morning crash sends one adult, to children to hospital

QUINCY — Three people were taken to Blessing Hospital with possible injuries following a rollover crash just north of Quincy Wednesday morning.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Department reported that deputies were dispatched just after 10 a.m. Wednesday for a two-car crash at the junction of U.S. 24 and Ill. 96, at the intersection of North 24th Street.

According to ACSD, one of the involved vehicles rolled over as a result of the crash. One adult and two children were take by Adams County ambulance to Blessing for treatment of suspected injuries.

The sheriff’s department did not release any information on the people involved, but noted that the driver considered at fault was issued two citations.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Adams County EMS and the Tri-Township Fire Department
