Hannibal woman faces charges after disturbance

HANNIBAL, Mo. — A Hannibal woman faces charges after a disturbance in the 400 block of Oak.

The Hannibal Police Department said officers on Friday found Sydney Armstrong, 20, standing in the roadway and blocking a vehicle. After being told she was under arrest, she kicked one of the officers, the department said.

A warrant issued in the 10th Judicial Circuit of Marion County charged Armstrong with resisting arrest and third-degree assault on a law enforcement officer. Bond was set at $8,500 cash or surety.
